Tegelikult ma olen kudunud…nii palju kui aega olen leidnud. Kirjutamiseks aja leidmine on lihtsalt palju keerulisem….aga ma nüüd teen selle ära.

Actually I have been knitting…as much as I have found time.  To find time for writing is so much harder…but now I just do it. 

Neid salle on küll juba Facebook’is nähtud, aga ma siiski raporteerin neist siia ka.  Noh ja üsna natuke muid asju, millega ma olen tegelenud.

These shawls have been presented in Facebook already, but I’ m still put them here too.  And little bit more about things I’v been doing…

Alustuseks sall, mis sai valmis märtsi lõpul.  Lilleväli.  Loodusvalge, 100% villane.  See on nii lihtne ja armas muster, et ma kindlasti koon seda veel ja veel ja veel…….ja…..

Now the first one was finished at the end of March.  The Flowerfield.  Natural white 100% wool again.  It’s so easy and lovely pattern, that I’ll most certainly will knit it again and again and again….and….

Salli mõõdud 60 x 170 cm.  Lõngakulu 78 grami/ 1092 meetrit.  Vardad nagu alati 2.25; 2,5; 3,5 ja 5,5 mm. Nupud 11-silmuselised.

Dimensions of this shawl were 60 x 170 cm. And yarn (100g /1400m) consumption was 78 grams /1092 meters (1194.2 yards)

Needles as always 2.25; 2,5; 3,5 and 5,5 mm. Nupps were made of 11 yarnloops. 

Järgmine on “Kuninganna Sofia” – mustriga sall. (See on mul veel alles) Tume ploomipunane.  100% meriino.

The next one is in “Queen Sofia” – pattern (I still have it),  in dark red plum, 100% merinowool. 

Mõõdud 60 x 165 cm, lõngakulu 88 grammi/1232 meetrit.

Dimensions were 60 x 165 cm. Yarn (100g / 1400 m) consumption was 88 grams /1232 metres (1347.3 yards)

Vardad olid seekord veidi peenemad: 2.0; 2.25; 3.0 ja 4.5 mm. Nupud 13-silmuselised.

Needles were little bit smaller this time: 2.0; 2.25; 3.0 and 4.5 mm.  Nupps had 13 yarnloops.

Loodusvalge, 100% meriino.

Last but not least there was “The Lilly of the Valley”- shawl  (in Estonia known as Ingrid Rüütel’s pattern too). (I still have it)

Needles once again 2.25; 2.5; 3.5 and 5.5mm.  Nupps were made of 11 yarnloops. 

Noh ja siis on seal kusagil taustal veel Unistus Kleidist….alustasin märtsi lõpul..aga pole saanud eriti aega kududa seda nende kõigi muude asjade vahepeal.  Foto on tehtud päris algusest, see on küll veidi “kasvanud” pärast pildistamist…nii umbes 40 cm..  Tundub, et sellest tuleb mu järgmise 6 kuu projekt. Aga vahet pole, sest teen selle endale. Lõng on veidi tumedam kui foto näitab.

Well then there is a Dream of Dress…..started at the end of March….but I haven’t had enough time in between all these other things…  There is photo of beginning, it has been growing a bit from since…about 40cm.  It seems that it will be my next 6 months project.  But it doesn’t matter, ‘cause it is for myself. Yarn is little bit darker as it is on a photo. 

Teiste käsitöölistega koos sai tehtud “kalastus tekk/kardin” kohalikule koolile.  See oli täitsa lahe tegemine ja tulemus on ka täitsa lahe.  Kasutatud erinevaid käsitöötehnikaid, mis oligi põhi idee kogu asja juures.

With other handcrafters we made kind of “fishing curtain” for the  school we have here.  It was really fun to do it came out really nice.  There are some different technics used in this and that was the hole idea. 

Noh ma arvan, et nüüd ma lõpetan kirjutamise ja hakkan jälle kuduma…kuna mul on paar “kiiret soovi”, mis tuleks täita.

I think I finish this writing now and start knitting again…..as I have couple of “fast wishes” to complete.
