Natuke pitsi…/Little bit of lace…

Hei!

Siit tuleb nüüd paar suuremat salli, mida olen kudunud.

Esimene on Jacqueline “Õitsev Unistus” (?)

Kõige tähtsamad olid värv ja suurus. Mustri sain ise kombineerida.

Lõngaks 100% meriinovill (100g / 1400m). Salli suurus 180 x 180 cm. Lõngakulu 232 grammi / 3248 meetrit.

Sama kogus lõnga oleks kulunud kolme normaalse salli kudumiseks.

Sallil on poordiga keskosa, millele on õmmeldud eraldi valmis kootud äärepits.

Vardad olid taas kord 2,25mm; 3,5mm; 2,5mm ja 5,5mm.

Here come couple of bigger scarves I have been knitting.

First one is Jacqueline’s “The Flowering Dream”

Most important things were the colour and the size.  I could pick the patterns myself.

Yarn was 100% merinowool (100g / 1400m). Size of the scarf was 180 x 180 cm.  Yarn consumption 232 grams / 3248 meters (3552,1 yards).

It means like three normal shawls I usually knit.

Scarf consists a middle part with border and edgelace has been knitted separately and sewn on to middle part.

Needles were as usually 2.25mm; 3,5mm; 2,5mm and 5,5mm

Mõned pildid ka.

Some pictures.

Järgmine on Eikellegi sall.

Keskosa muster on legendaarne “Lilleväli”.

Äärepitsi muster on samast raamatust, aga algupäraselt kuulub ühe kolmnurkse salli serva.

Lõng on 100% vill (100g / 1400m), loodusvalge. Vardad 2,25mm; 3,5mm; 2,5mm ja 5,5mm.

Salli mõõdud 143 x 143 cm. Lõngakulu 143 grammi / 2002 meetrit.

The next one is Nobody’s scarf.

I started to knitting it just for a change, because this lilac was little bit exhausting colour. So at some point I put this white one to my needles. It was a good idea, ‘cause at some point the lilac project had to wait for more yarn too.

This scarf’s pattern is from the Haapsalu scarf’s book.  The middle part pattern is the legendary “Flowerfield”.

The edgelace pattern is from this book too, but originally it belongs in one triangular shawl.

Yarn is 100% wool (100g/ 1400m), natural white.  Needles 2,25mm; 3,5mm; 2,5mm and 5,5mm.

Scarf’s dimensions are 143 x 143cm. Yarn consumption 143 grams / 2002 meters (2189,4 yards)

Siin see siis on.

So here it is.

See oligi tänaseks kõik. Mu varrastel on veelgi See Punane projekt ja teistsugune versioon sallist “Õitsev Unistus” , aga mitte lilla.

Aitäh, et külastasid taas kord mu blogi!

Imeilusat augustit koos võrratute tähiste öödega!

Teie Mina.

That’s all for today. I still have my Red project on my needles and different version of “The Flowering Dream” too, but not lilac.

Thank You for visiting my blog once again!

Have a nice August with these starry nights!

Your’s truly, I.

  1. I love your purple “Flowering Dream” (or Blooming Dream?). Where can I get the pattern please or what book is it published in

    • Thank You!
This scarf’s pattern pieces are from different Estonian lace’s books. These big flowers are from “Knitted shawls of Helga Rüütel”; the middle section pattern, called Lily of the Valley, is from “The Haapsalu shawl” book, as the edgelace pattern too.

      Meeldib
